ABOUT
Hi, I'm Sushmita Charlu, a designer and researcher with a multidisciplinary approach.

My purpose is to design meaningful products, systems and experiences that are aligned with a sustainable present and future.
​
I am currently privileged to be a student at Aalto University, Finland where I am pursuing a Master's in Collaborative and Industrial Design.
Most recently, I was a Design Manager at Good Business Lab, where I worked on social sustainability and worker wellbeing projects, such as this one. Previous roles include co-founder-designer at Vrtta, a collaborative focused on sustainability and craft, and co-host Design Lota - The podcast about life as Indian Designers. I graduated from Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, as a product and interface designer in 2014.
